About Escowa

We are the largest producer of customized drinking water machines in the Nordic region, and we are truly passionate about what we do! Escowa began as a small player in the coffee industry, where it quickly became clear that there was a lack of good alternatives to coffee and tea in the workplace.

In 1986, the idea became a reality when the small coffee company started manufacturing its own base cabinets, which would become a cornerstone of the company’s business concept: chilled and carbonated water in durable machines for offices and public environments. Since then, the company has grown and refined its vision of providing quality water at the workplace.

Today, we work exclusively with water solutions, and at our headquarters in Vallentuna, we also handle purchasing, support, administration, warehousing, and sales, alongside assembly. From Vallentuna, we have close access to the major logistics routes in Stockholm, enabling us to deliver goods and spare parts efficiently throughout Greater Stockholm. At the heart of our production are high-quality water coolers and base cabinets made of industrial-grade sheet metal.

In Laholm, we have our carpentry workshop where we saw, lacquer, and build base cabinets for water and coffee machines. Since we own our own carpentry shop, we have great flexibility in customizing our models and responding to customer requests.

Escowa’s CEO Simone Simonacci leads the company with a strong belief in the future, working closely with Sales Manager Mikael Karlsson and Ola Helgeson, who have extensive knowledge of the Swedish market. With strong support from customers and staff, Escowa has grown to become the leading supplier of water dispensers in the Nordic region.

Escowa through the years

Escowa has an exciting history behind it, leading to the production powerhouse it is today. With our own wood production workshop and an efficient design department, we are now at the forefront of what is being introduced to the market in the Scandinavian vending and HoReCa sectors. But it all started in a basement in Spånga.

Our Carpentry Shop

At Escowa, we have our own carpentry workshop, where we proudly produce locally in Sweden since 1993. The scent of freshly cut wood is part of our everyday life, and with our latest investment in a new saw, we’ve renewed the heart of our operations. We manufacture everything from base cabinets for water and coffee machines to office and retail furniture, with a focus on quality and precision.

We work with one of the world’s largest laminate suppliers and have a broad stock of standard laminates. Need something else? We are happy to order special laminates for you. We offer everything from classic wood types to vibrant patterns. Ask us, and we’ll provide product samples!

Escowa and the Environment

Escowa actively works to reduce its environmental impact through smart transport solutions, such as consolidated shipping between different suppliers, and local assembly to reduce emissions. Our products are connected to existing water pipes, minimizing the need for bottled water and packaging, thereby lowering the carbon footprint.

With long-lasting water coolers, manufactured in the EU according to Scandinavian quality standards, the need for frequent replacements and repairs is reduced. Our environmental commitment, “Carbon Reduced Footprint,” is supported by certifications according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, ensuring both quality and sustainability. We also have an accessible spare parts inventory centrally located in Sweden and have documented fewer repairs.

Over the years, we have received several awards and certifications that we are very proud of. Among other things, we were voted “Gazelle Company of the Year” by Dagens Industri.

Escowa also supports the Swedish Cancer Society in their important work. The collaboration began in 2019. As a corporate partner, we contribute to the Cancer Society’s crucial work in research and support for those affected.
