Discontinued Products

Starting in October, we will phase out a number of products from our range, which will completely be discontinued after the turn of the year. This applies to the products Omni, Sorgente, and Purus, all of which will be replaced by our new model OMNIA, as well as the built-in cooler Primo Cooler, which will also be discontinued.

There have also been several customer-specific models in the market, which will also be taken out of production (EOL – End Of Life).

Out with the old, in with the new

Escowa already has replacement models ready for the new requirements with environmentally friendly refrigerants!

All water dispensers in Escowa’s range comply with the F-gas regulation. Our new model Omnia is a water dispenser that we have developed exclusively for the Nordic market, where we set high demands on serviceability and carbonation in relation to price and size, and which has the capacity to directly replace the discontinued products.

With Omnia, we offer an easy-to-place product in a sleek design, with improved operation and an ample dispensing height. Behind the front door, you’ll find the placement for the inline filter and CO2 bottle (up to 600g) directly accessible behind the front. This makes it likely the most service-friendly water dispenser on the market. Omnia, of course, uses the new R600 refrigerant.

We offer Omnia in black or white lacquered sheet metal, with reinforced ABS corners, designed to withstand even tougher handling and environments with high wear. Omnia is best placed on a matching underskirt, where larger CO2 bottles can also be placed, and connected directly to the back of the dispenser next to the incoming water connection.

With the launch of Omnia, we also introduce a new method for capacity specification, where we differentiate between a measured value by us, and a theoretical value based on data from the compressor manufacturer. We will also provide values for both Delta T-4 and Delta T-10 with a number that is “up to” the specified capacity. This work will take place during the fall of 2021 and will be applied to all our cooling units.

In practice, this means that the capacity specification will be displayed for different requirements, depending on how cold the customer expects the water to be, and how cold the water is in the incoming pipes. On paper, Omnia will have a slightly lower measured capacity, but in practical use, it matches the capacity of Omni, Sorgente, and Purus directly. The reason for this is that the outgoing range historically had a capacity specification that was a mix of measured and theoretical values.

Omnia is a water dispenser that will be ideal for smaller offices, receptions, and smaller conference rooms, where it will shine with its simplicity, flexibility, and availability. Omnia serves chilled still and chilled carbonated water.

The segment includes several products that have served satisfied Nordic customers for more than a decade. These products will not be able to be converted to the new refrigerant and will therefore no longer be able to be produced.
